How CodeStilt credits work

What a credit buys, why you see the cost first, and why failed tries are free.

Every AI model charges by how much text it reads and writes. Credits turn that into one simple number for you.

You see the cost before you approve

When CodeStilt makes a plan, it estimates the credits the task will use. You approve it knowing the price. When the task finishes, you see what it really used.

Auto picks the cheapest model that can do the job

A typo fix does not need the most expensive model. Auto mode starts with a fast, cheap model and only moves up when the task needs it. You can always choose a model yourself.

Failed tries are free

If the agent tries three times and still can't make your tests pass, it stops and asks you. We do not charge for those failed tries.

A hard cap

Your plan has a monthly limit. When you reach it, tasks pause. Nothing is charged above your plan unless you choose to buy more.
