CodeStilt CLI: the same agent in your terminal

Give tasks, approve plans with Enter and undo from the command line, on your laptop or on a server.

The CodeStilt CLI isn't a separate product. It's the same program as the desktop app: run codestilt on its own and the control panel opens in your browser; run it with a command and it works right in your terminal.

A task from start to finish

codestilt link
codestilt allow .
codestilt task "fix the failing login test"

The plan appears in your terminal with its steps, the files it may touch and the estimated credits. Press Enter to approve or n to say no. You'll see the checkpoint being saved, the test results and, at the end, the exact command to undo the task.

Choose a model per task

Add --model auto, best, fast or saver to any task. Your plan decides which modes are available.

On a server

Link once, allow the project folder and run codestilt agent. It waits for tasks without the control panel. Give tasks from the dashboard or your phone and they run there. codestilt status --json gives scripts a health check.

What --yes does and doesn't do

--yes approves a plan automatically, but only if the plan has no risky steps. Plans with risky steps must be approved in the dashboard, and every command still goes through the danger wall.
